On Saturday, May 13, AT 6 PM The Creative at Klondike is excited to host “The Art of Conservation”, a celebration of the decades-long collaboration between Magnificent Missouri and Bryan Haynes. For twenty years, this team has celebrated a connection between people and the Missouri River valley by promoting this idea:
“We are fortunate to live, work and visit a place with so much natural beauty, history and talent” – Dan Burkhardt.
On display throughout the space will be beautiful banners showcasing images created by Bryan for the book Growing Up with the River: Nine Generations on the Missouri. Full of talent and grace, Bryan’s work tells the story of our region through historically accurate imagery illuminated with a feeling of light and brilliant color, which are his distinctly.
Following the presentation, please stay to enjoy a casual social hour when the Burkhardt’s will share their Bethlehem Valley Norton, a wine made from the Missouri state grape, with hors d’oeuvres from Sunflower Hill Farm, a local farm to table eatery. This evening is bound to be entertaining, informative, and beautiful.
Please join us at The Creative at Klondike, May 13 beginning at 6:00, in Klondike Park, 4600 State Hwy South, Augusta MO. Enter the Park and follow the signs to the left.
