The Conservatory Guest Cottage

Complimentary Breakfast, Handicapped Accessible, Refrigerator, Children Welcome

Free standing structure that sits alongside 165 year old home. 100% private. Hand cut wood beams. Decorative wood burning stove.

The Cottage

This quaint cottage, built in the 1800s, was rescued from the Augusta Bottoms around 1960 by the town blacksmith, who moved it to its present location next door to the livery in which he operated. His wife opened an antique shop in The Cottage and it continued in that capacity through several successors until it was turned into a B&B in 1998 by Kitty Covell .

Ron and Jan Farris bought The Cottage from Kitty in October of 2020 and have lovingly transformed it into a short-term homestay. It is located near the heart of downtown Augusta, Missouri and is within walking distance of many of the town’s best destinations.
