Featuring Bud (Millard) Shortt “back by popular demand” on Tuesday, November 14.  Bud was one of TILIW’s earliest interviewees in October 2019.  Only a few locals witnessed the lively interview which included discussions on running moonshine in Virginia, the Grand Ole Opry, rounding up AWOL servicemen, lots of children, cousins, and siblings, and tragedies…bloated school district budgets…and not forgetting horseshoe championships.  Doors open at 6 pm at the Harmonie Verein.  Cash bar available.  Free, but Friends of Historic Augusta make good use of any donations that you leave.  Angela Stephens is the emcee.  Be there, and be curious.  PaulO
