Festival in Augusta – Artist’s Choice Voting & People’s Choice Voting & Theme Paint Judging

Welcome Visitors & Artists: Four (4) competitions will be taking place at the Augusta Harmonie Verein:
- Birds of Augusta – Theme Judging at 8:00am
- Nocturne – Theme Judging at 9am
- Artists’ Choice Voting – Round One starting at 1pm – Round Two starting at 2:15pm
- Peoples’ Choice Voting – In Person starting at 3pm – Online starting at 4:30pm
The themes chosen for this year celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Augusta Plein Air
The 1st place $750 purchase prize for “Nocturne” is sponsored by Ladd and Madge King
The 1st place $750 purchase prize for “Birds of Augusta” is sponsored by Enchanted Owl Inn
Artist’s Choice judging will be held at The Augusta Harmonie Verein Hall in Augusta at Church St. & Hackman St. The first round of judging will take place at 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. The top paintings will be set aside for a second round of judging starting at 2:15 PM and ending at 3:00 PM. The Artists’ Choice winner will be announced at the Final Sale on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:30 AM.
The semi-finalist winners from Artists’ Choice will be on display for the Peoples’ Choice live voting at the Harmonie from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Online voting for People’s Choice on FaceBook will begin at 4:30 PM and close at 11:00 PM. The Peoples’ Choice winner will be announced at the Final Sale on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:30 AM.
Art will be on display and available for purchase beginning at noon until 6pm.
