FREE to enter!!  Contest takes place throughout the Town of Augusta

Open to all ages:  Individuals, Families, Groups & Businesses

1st Place $250 

2nd Place $150

3rd Place $100

Must register to be judged.  Claim one of the designated display locations in town or use your yard if you live within the Augusta town limits.

Participants must provide their own materials for creating their scarecrow.

No perishable items may be used including pumpkins, squash and other plants.

Name should be placed on scarecrow.

Construction should be durable to hold up to natural elements.

Scarecrows should not obstruct the view of traffic.

This is a family friendly event. Offensive, controversial or inappropriate decorations will be removed.

Scarecrow set up September 8, 2023 to Sept 11, 2023

Scarecrows will be judged by members of the Augusta Harvest Festival Committee

Winners will be announced on September 17th at the Augusta Harvest Festival

All scarecrows must be removed by November 3, 2022
