
1st American Viticultural Area – Celebration

On June 20, 1980 Augusta Missouri became the 1st American Viticultural Area. An American Viticultural Area (AVA) is a designated wine grape-growing region in the United States distinguishable by geographic features, with boundaries defined by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).
On June 19, 2021; Augusta is Celebrating its unique history as a wine growing region. Wine Tasting Tent will be in the Town Square, come and taste the wines from local wineries.
