This Tuesday, July 30, we are presenting our first public interview of those Augusta residents who have been around long enough to tell the rest of us what life was like in Augusta and the surrounding area in years gone by. The live interview will be held at the Visitor Center at 6:30pm, and one and all are invited.
Our panel of interviewers is: Jan Cross, Dave Klaas, Glenda Drier and Paul Ovaitt. But you too can add questions of your own.
The first interviewee is Vic Kuchem! Our second, on Tuesday, August 20, will be Doris Hopen.
This event is free and open to all.
Starting in August and every following month, Tell It Like It Was will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. It will always be held at the Visitor Center which the Augusta Chamber of Commerce is kindly making available to us.
Each event will be video-recorded and given to the Friends of Historic Augusta, aka The Town Museum.
We hope to see you there!
