27^th Annual Christmas Walk

Over 1,500 luminaries light your way through Historic Augusta, Missouri the first two Friday evenings of December (3^rd & 10^th) from 5 to 10 PM.

The annual event has more than a 25 year history and has become a tradition for the Augusta community to host.  A complimentary Trolley Shuttle will take you through town to visit the many shops and antique stores, wineries and brewery, restaurants and food stands, unique art including hand-blown glass, paintings, and jewelry.

A local church can help get you in the holiday spirit with Christmas caroling and invites you to sing along or just listen in their church sanctuary featuring a giant Christmas tree.  The town square can boost your holiday spirit with a horse drawn carriage ride around the heart of town, a toasty bon fire with Chestnuts roasting and marshmallows toasting, and Santa Claus waiting to hear you Christmas wishes.

The holiday enthusiast may enjoy the challenge of our Holiday Scavenger Hunt with a Christmas quiz and an evening full of gathering items from all the shops.  You can turn your answers in at our History Museum and register for prizes from our local merchants.

You can simply relax by listening to a band at Mount Pleasant Winery with a glass of wine; spend the evening at dinner with friends at Café Bella, Augusta Brewing Company, Ashley's Rose or Balducci's; receive a therapeutic massage at Halcyon or you can shop till you drop at a number of specialty shops and antique stores.
